  1. Thanks for including my list! What was your favorites book(s) from the year? I had a really hard time choosing between “Let’s See” and the “Colour” anthology.

  2. Thanks for the great list, Marion. I don’t have a list of my own of favorite books from the current year, as I tend to buy older books as much as new ones and don’t pay that much attention to what’s current. That’s why I pointed to your list and the others.

  3. Thanks for this Charlie – very useful

I’m like you, my book buys are frequently not recent publications but it’s always good to see what gets rated – and to look to see if there’s anything I’ve missed.

  4. I’m surprised that the recent “Artists Inspired By H.P Lovecraft” art book published by Centipede Press isn’t being mentioned anywhere. I know it’s expensive, but still.. http://www.amazon.com/Lovecraft-Retrospective-Artists-Inspired-H-P/dp/1933618345

  5. Thanks, Katherine.

Other readers can find Katherine Tyrrell’s book (and other ) recommendations, plus lots of art and art resources on her blog Making a Mark.

  6. Thanks, Aeron.

Other readers can check out tons of monstrously cool art and stuff on Aeron’s Monster Brains blog.
