Hopefully, this is what &lt;em&gt;lines and colors&lt;/em&gt; is about: showcasing artists and visual arts resources on the Web that readers may not have come across or known about otherwise.

A lot of people may have only been familiar with the longer running &lt;a href="http://www.about-vermeer-art.com/" rel="nofollow"&gt;About Vermeer Art&lt;/a&gt;, which was good at one time, but has been rendered unusable with pop-unders and other advertising. (I can't imagine the original creator doing this, the site must have changed hands).</description>
