Douglas Klauba

Chicago illustrator Douglas Klauba does illustrations for posters, book covers, calendars and various editorial and commercial clients. His work shows influences from Art Nouveau, classic movie posters, WPA murals and golden-age illustration.

Site Quirks: The site designer has sacrificed usablity for style, resulting in an "enigmatic" navigation scheme. Roll over the dots on the left to see the navigation choices. Gallery choices are by number. A better option is to go to "Thumbnails" (lowest dot on the left) and click on the thumbnails to enlarge the image. Dots at the bottom go to additional thumbnail pages. There is additional art in the "News" section (5th dot down).
