The Rocketeer lacked continuity because it was edited beyond recognition. That is why it did not do well. And probably one of the reasons Dave does not like corporate lawyers. Whatever Dave is doing now, I am sure it is whatever He wants to do.

How are you so sure The Rocketeer was "edited beyond recognition"? It looked as though it wasn't a very well thought out script/film to begin with. And if you want to be in the entertainment business, you're going to have to sometimes deal with corporate lawyers. Didn't Dave realize that?
You write like you know Dave, do you?

I thought the Rocketeer movie failed partially because it was actually paced like one of the thirties and fourties movies it was modeled on (something I actually liked about it), although it was also lacking in many of the elements that made the original story appealing (like the implication that the rocket pack belonged to Doc Savage).

As far as I know, Stevens is working mostly in the film industry, but doesn't seem to feel the need to publicize that work. The last listed update to the site I point to here is January of 2006, as Max points out, but it was not being maintained by him, even though it had his blessing as the "official" site.

Rocketeer was a bomb. So where has Dave been since January 2006? Is he still among the living? What are his new upcoming projects?
