<description>Amazing the view of the Lady in the mirror. This is the sort of thing like what you have done that had got hold of me even some 50 years ago when in a moment of inspiration I had the desperation to render the painting into a 3D wood sculpture . It was good enough to be given away. A scotch swilling Scotsman took it to be placed on the mantle of his mother&#039;s fireplace in her Highland home.

What is so amazing about your flopped images of the Lady is the refreshing response one gets when even the same smile now has a subtle switch which one is not sure if she is just starting the smile or if she had after a brilliant display of flashing white teeth in, you can imagine a lusky sexy laugh, to resettle on her pose
when the great master painter with his 1/500 second freeze frame had in his eye captured that magic moment and in that one forgiveable instant immortablised both the artist and his model. &quot;Forgiveable&quot; because I suspect the couple of some bond beyond just the commision.

The Scotish friend had passed on for sure but the Lady haunts me since. So back to the workshop with carving tools borrowed from a Canadian woman, and 3 months later
a fresh 35cm high Mona now looks at me as I write to you. Images by digital recording are with me and if you like to see them please let me know.

Adios

and Best Regards
