Really good point about the wood cuts at Musee Claude Monet Giverny in fact most people are surprised not to see any Monet’s at the Museum but not get how ver special the wood cuts in Claude Monet’s famous yellow dining room are and were to him- Aileen Bordman Monet’s Palate

Hokusai’s most famous woodblock print was published between 1830 and 1832. I don’t know how many original prints he pulled from the block, but one of them was in the collection of Claude Monet at his house in Giverny.
