		<description>I caught this show at the Milwaukee museum.  It&#039;s awe-inspiring to see all that great comic art collected in one place, including several complete stories (by Kurtzman, Crumb, Eisner ...)  By the end my eyes were practically falling out of my head.

The big surprise for me was the Dick Tracy strips from the 50&#039;s.  I&#039;d expected to see fantastic stuff from Caniff and McCay, but Gould&#039;s art was starkly beautiful.  I&#039;ll have to look for some collections from that era.</description>
