I've been in love with Jean Haubertine since seeing his portrait of her. Modigliani, Klimt, Goya and Schiele are my favourite painters, in that order. For today, anyhow... For the same reason. And I love Modigliani. I'm intrigued by his friendship with Soutine--they were fundamentally different painters, and both favorites of mine.
