Burgin,

William Joyce is not likely to see our comments here. You may be able to write to him through his publisher.

You might try contacting him through one of his publishers, like Harper Collins.

How can I get in touch with William Joyce. I just finished reading to my 4th graders "Santa Calls" and they LOVED it. They want to ask him a few questions about the ending.

I've worked with Bill in the past while at Reel FX in Dallas (he's based out of his studio in a Shreveport Louisiana college admin building-he owns the entire top floor) and discovered that he's very computer illiterate...never uses them. He's also a purist which is why many of his designs are not present in the features he's involved with. His contributions to Toy Story and Bug's Life are quite unique but where not accessible to the broader audiece Pixar was looking for (he had greater creative control during Robots). Anyway, the best resource is the William Joyce site. It was put together by Reel FX with whom he is a benefactor for several projects that are in development.

OK, raise your hands: How many artists collect illustrated children's books even though you either have no children or your children have grown to adulthood and moved out? Be honest!
