I read maybe two or three comics regularily as a kid, but Calvin and Hobbes was one of them. Even if I'd read a vast array of them and been a comics fanatic, I'm pretty sure Calvin and Hobbes would be my favorite of them all, regardless. I still read it! I like it more now as an adult, I've only grown fonder! You know if it makes you laugh out loud, it's good.

I have to agree. I love Calvin and Hobbis. I do disagree with news papers trying to reduce comics in the paper though. I atleast with more ads they can recoup some of the money they are loosing in excess. It's not just he internet but, where I live here near philadelphia, there is a paper called the metro that is free. They make there money from advertising completly. Now if news paper decided to put comic books in there papers seperate that might help.

His watercolor technique (seen on the covers of his books) is just fabulous. Has the same energy as in his linework as well as a fantastic sense of color.
