I am studying the art of Edward Gorey and Ted Harrison at school. I have to do a analysis of the 2 artists' art style. It is amazing that Edward Gorey can create art that gives me a creepy feeling with short strokes and sometimes dull colours. His use of texture and details totally amaze me.

I don't know why, but I can't see the text of your posts using Firefox. Is anybody else has the same problem? I have no problem with Opera. Thanks.

I have been scouring the internet with all sorts of search subjects (on what I had almost given up as a fruitless quest) to find the name of the author of a murder series I was addicted to so many years ago.

I was equipped with only the vague memory of a boy getting himself into deliciously grim & dark situations, accompanied by many fantastically distinct illustrations, along with a 'pretty sure' hunch that it was not written by a woman.

I have recently decided to compose a list of all my beloved childhood authors. Thank you so much, Lines & Colors for helping me secure Edward Gorey a place on that list.

Thank you again, after months of this gnawing at me; I cannot wait to revisit his singular stories.

Sincerely, A Born Again Book Lover
